Miso & Honey Glazed Salmon

This is an incredibly easy dish to throw together for when you feel a little too lazy to cook! In less than 30 minutes from start to finish, you will have an amazingly delicious and nutritious dish to savor! Enjoy it with rice, cauliflower rice (recipe coming soon!) or salad.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon white miso
  • 5 Tablespoon mirin
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 salmon fillet or steak 6 oz, patted dry with a paper towel
  • Sprinkle of salt & pepper
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven at 220℃ (425℉)
  • In a small bowl, mix the miso, mirin, honey and garlic together.
  • Place the salmon in a small baking pan. Sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper on the salmon. Brush vegetable oil on the fish and pour the marinade over it.
  • Roast for 4 to 6 minutes per half-inch thickness of salmon. It will be cooked when it’s easily flaked. Garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve with rice or salad.
